How to get in touch with our team
Groundwork helps people to retrain, gain confidence and gain valuable work experience. From structured volunteering to formal placements with employers, we help people move on a journey towards employment.
Our work includes:
Vocational training
Groundwork provides vocational training in subjects such as construction skills and landscaping, combined with wider support to help people find work or further training.
Supporting those with long term conditions
Groundwork has developed a number of tailored approaches to helping people move from Employment Support Allowance back towards employment. These are usually based around short courses that aim to inspire and build confidence in a supportive group atmosphere. We reconnect people with their communities and build self-esteem.
Work placements
Many of our employment schemes involve us being an active broker, placing people in work placements with local employers and delivering the ongoing support to ensure it’s a success for both the individual and the company.
