Some of the projects we've worked on around Bury and Bolton:
Location: Bury and Bolton Groundwork is now delivering a very exciting Prince's Trust programme. The programme that involves several 12 week courses is aimed at young people aged 16 – 25.
Location: Three young people have turned their lives around by completing the first Prince’s Trust 12-week Self-Development Course run by Groundwork Bury and Bolton.
Location: Bolton Bolton Climate Change Conference Well Recived By Individuals And Community Groups
Location: Fletcher Street, Bolton Working in partnership with Bolton Councils Environmental Services in order to improve access to a well used recreation ground.
Location: Bolton Bolton Council Environmental Services are working in partnership with Groundwork to encourage people to positivity change their behaviours towards their local environment.
Location: Bottom of St Georges Rd next to the underpass, Halliwell, Bolton Groundwork’s Green Team is made up of young people who have little previous work experience. They improved an area next to the town centre which had become over grown and provided a hideaway for antisocial behaviour.
Location: Coronation Road, Radcliffe The project at Radcliffe Primary School was part of a wider intergenerational programme of work with aims that include creating a greater sense of community between local people of all ages.
Location: Bolton Groundwork organises and delivers gardening sessions for volunteers to help maintain the gardens of elderly, disabled, or vulnerable residents in Great Lever, Bolton.
Location: Bury & Bolton Growing Together is a three year Lottery funded project aimed at encouraging families to work and learn together through food growing and landscaping projects.
