How to get in touch with our team
Groundwork Bury and Bolton began as ‘Bury Business Environment Association’ in 1998, working with small businesses to improve their environmental performance.
In 2002 Groundwork Bury became an independent Trust and has been working in partnership to improve the quality of the local environment, the lives of local people and the success of local businesses ever since.
Groundwork began delivering in the Bolton area in 2006 and the Trust was delighted that Bolton Council joined Bury Council as a formal member in 2008, creating the Trust we are today.
In September 2009 the Trust moved from its current business premises in East Bury to the old Job Centre building in Radcliffe. The new accommodation provided a much improved and affordable base for us and importantly a platform for continuing to deliver work programme activity, in areas of need, across the Trust’s charitable area of Bury and Bolton.
