Groundwork Cheshire’s projects always seek to
be inclusive of young people. Cheshire’s youth population is
vital to our community’s overall health and vitality, so it is
important that whatever targets our projects are focusing on young
people have the opportunity to be involved.
We actively encourage young people to get on
board with the community groups we work with, giving them a voice
and a platform to talk about the gaps in young people’s
We also run several projects specifically targeted at giving
disadvantaged young people more opportunity – whether through
engaging them with music and art through our Children In Need
funded arts programme, or diversifying their learning social
experiences on our community gardening projects.
Location: Colshaw Farm, Wilmslow Colshaw Farm Recreation area was a haven for anti-social behaviour but now is well used for sports and BMX.
