80-20 Foundation

8020 foundation graphicThe 80-20 Foundation is the platform for organisations to engage positively in the field of responsible and innovative environmental business practice.

This new membership body from Groundwork Merseyside provides a unique vehicle to assist businesses and organisations alike to develop, improve, embed and showcase their responsible business credentials, share best practice and make a positive impact to both their social vision and bottom line profitability.

What’s more, the need for low carbon growth is a key issue and there has never been a more important time for the private, third and public sectors to explore ways of working together to promote real commercial and environmental sustainability.

It is apparent in today’s market that business success must increasingly be guided by the need to create economic, social and environmental capital. The 80-20 Foundation helps members be successful both for their own and their employees interests, but importantly as well as for their wider community.

The 80-20 Foundation Community Investment Fund will receive 20% of the Foundation’s membership fees to help set up and improve a diverse range of community-led projects.

The Community Investment Fund will enable us to support and develop Groundwork Merseyside’s well established credentials and past achievements in building local peoples’ empowerment and their community’s ability to help themselves.

As a member, all community investment and activity that is delivered will be reported back to you on an annual basis, demonstrating your organisation’s Corporate Responsibility credentials.
