Partnerships and Funding
There are many building blocks to creating a
sustainable community: good health, prospects of a decent income
and a quality local environment.
Joining those issues together between a myriad of different
agencies in any one area takes energy and commitment. We need truly
effective partnerships to build alliances for sustainable
development that’s meaningful to the neighbourhoods we work
An independent CLES report (Centre for Local Economic
Strategies) recently praised our emphasis on working in partnership
with other organisations in the area to benefit the overall
planning, delivery and sustainability of our projects.
Some of our key local partners include:
- The local authorities
- Housing Associations such as Riverside
- Chambers of Commerce
- The Land Trust
We receive annual funding from the Department of Communities and
Other sources of income include the Big Lottery Fund, European
funding and straightforward contracts to deliver work for a range
of public and private organisations.
