Local Enterprise Partnerships

Groundwork business advisor Groundwork is looking forward to working with the new Local Enterprise Partnerships to help create stronger and more sustainable local economies across the Northwest.

We can help to:

support businesses to move towards a low carbon economy
support people in vulnerable communities to gain new skills and motivation
improve the image of places through strategic environmental improvements

Over the last decade, Groundwork managed and delivered a large percentage of the award-winning ENWORKS programme for the NWDA. ENWORKS is a unique business support programme co-ordinating environmental advice, training and support to businesses throughout the Northwest of England.

Since 2004, ENWORKS Resource Efficiency Programme has helped save companies:

£60+ million through improved resource efficiency;
190,000+ tonnes of CO2;
3,000,000+ m3 of water;
180,000+ tonnes of raw materials per annum
