Without people in meaningful work, communities cannot function. We help people to retrain, gain confidence and gain valuable work experience - from training, personal development and support programmes, to diversionary work and mentoring.
We operate different skills programmes in different places, but they are all about motivation and changing lives.
Our programmes link to the wider environment and include accredited training in horticulture, construction, landscaping, energy efficiency, organic food growing, composting, computer recycling, woodland management and traditional and contemporary craft skills.
Location: Bury and Bolton Groundwork is now delivering a very exciting Prince's Trust programme. The programme that involves several 12 week courses is aimed at young people aged 16 – 25.
Location: Wigan Our Enterprise Coaching initiative helps Wigan’s potential entrepreneurs to achieve their dreams.
Location: Shaw, Oldham Equipping learners aged 16+ with a range of conservation skills in addition to an accredited qualification.
Location: Rochdale An innovative voluntary training project that combines housing regeneration and support for unemployed people.
Location: Rochdale Helping local unemployed people to gain new skills and work experience whilst making improvements to their neighbourhood.
Location: Rochdale Providing opportunities to previously unemployed young people whilst enhancing public spaces across Rochdale.
