Groundwork is a federation of independent charities. Each Groundwork Trust is a member of the federation, and signs up to a series of common aims, objectives and processes.
There are seven local Trusts in the Northwest, each governed by its own independent board.
Groundwork UK, the national part of the Groundwork federation, has an office in Manchester that delivers a number of regional programmes. Groundwork UK is governed by the Federation Board, made up of regional representatives and additional trustees co-opted for their particular skills.
